'CLOSING THE DOOR'

1 day, 2 weeks, 1 month, 4 months. You would ask if I'm over it.. not wanting to start drama or give anything away, I would say "Yeah I'm okay, it's cool now". But the matter of fact is, I was still battling the open doors in my heart and mind of the 'what if's and the why's'.

Constantly placing my heart and mind in different scenarios, we can really let our imagination get the best of us at times. Allowing us to be the biggest cause of our own downfalls when it comes to maintaining networks, friendships, relationships and definitely our faith.

Refuse self-pity. Refuse it absolutely. It is a deadly thing with power to destroy you. Turn your thoughts to Christ who has already carried your griefs and sorrows.

You are a flower child, you are a beautiful child, but most of all you are God's child. Don't let your mind and heart be filled with false assumptions, negativity, or un-forgiveness.

People come and people go, but the one person who will never leave you is God (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Congratulations for making it this far into 2016. It is my prayer that you will end this year with a clear conscious and strive to achieve the goals you set for this year. ITS NEVER TOO LATE!
