'Unconditional Love'

I grew up declaring to myself that I was mature because I thought I could hold mature conversations. I tried taking that suaveness into my previous relationships and it's safe to say the love I thought I was giving was nothing compared to what I know now. It's so easy to be wrapped up in the moment and declare your unfailing love for someone or something until it all goes left. Then the question arises if it was really love in the first place, infatuation, or just lust during that particular moment.

I can certainly say that this Christian walk since my last post "Living in chapters" to now, has been a rollercoaster. I've found myself battling more with my demons than ever but through it all God continues to be merciful and continues to show his unconditional love upon me.

I believe In this life every blessing, experience and set back is just a part of the jigsaw to what God has written concerning your life. Don't doubt your abilities and certainly your faith when the things you planned for aren't coming at the time you expected. God's grace and love is sufficient for you, you just gotta pray and watch.

"We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps" Proverbs 16:9

17/07/17 was the day God presented one of his precious blessings to me in my arms. Without me really knowing him but knowing he's part of me, I was instantly in love with my Son. It made me deep that as a father, that kind of love is infinitely there without him doing a single thing. To me, this was him showing his example of unconditional love. The same as being a child of God, we didn't have to do anything from the day we were born, for us to be worthy of him showing us his love.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 🙌🏾

I pray that you may get to know the understanding of God's unconditional love for you and how he longs to be a father in your life 🙌🏾
